About Me

Hi! Welcome to my website. I am a primary school teacher, and for years I have made small crocheted animals for the children in my class. Recently, I have started selling some at fairs, partly raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society, and partly to fund my hobbies. I even do a few commissions!

Where It All Began

I originally started knitting, but one year one of my school children bought me a set of crochet hooks and a crochet book. I was committed to knitting, but thought I ought to give it a go to show that I appreciated the thought, and I’ve never looked back! Crochet is so much easier and more flexible for the things I make. I create a lot of my own patterns, and crochet allows for easy correction and improvement.

What Do I Make?

I mostly make small animals, such as those on my homepage. However, I do sometimes create larger items such as the almost-life-sized swan, and the four-foot-long shark.

Commissions

I have on occasion created a few unique items for special requests, such as the ones below.
